Conceived in 2021 and launched in 2025, Anxiety Society is a Minneapolis-based electronic/dark rock band built around loud guitars, electronic textures, infectious hooks, and a healthy disregard for genre boundaries.

Adam Szczepaniak, Jeremy Montoya, Matt Greeninger, and Jonathan Kennedy emerged from the northern American Midwest with their debut album, Pull, in December 2025. The record established the band's raw, tightly produced sound, earning comparisons to “millennial Nine Inch Nails”and “an infectious dark-toned sound that could have been birthed from code of The Matrix.”

But Pull was only the beginning.

After nearly a year of living with their debut, Anxiety Society has written more than 30 new songs, with only the strongest material making the cut for their next album. Guitarist Jonathan Kennedy and bassist Matt Greeninger have also stepped deeper into the songwriting process, expanding the band's creative palette and pushing the sound toward something rawer, bigger, and more urgent.

The next chapter begins with “Clemency,” the band's first single from the upcoming record. Produced by Wally Joseph, the song introduces a darker and more ambitious direction while preserving the hooks, energy, and unapologetic intensity that define Anxiety Society.

The band is 100% human. The anxiety is not.
